There are a multitude of model of heating boiler

Various types of Gas Central Heating Systems are available in the heating market. Despite the different names basically these systems usually have copper pipework, radiators and a gas gas boiler.

Air conditioning is not a priority for residents of Europe and northern countries as these regions experience cold weather most of the year with short duration summertimes. Heating is more in demand particularly in the chilly wintertime, making a Gas Central Heating System an absolute must-have for all modern houses and all those located in the United Kingdom.

Heating is essential, particularly whens winter is heading our way. A heated home has a comfortable and enjoyable feel to it. Your Gas Central Heating System must be fault free as much as possible and efficient to cut bills. You Gas Central Heating System must give you the feeling of confidence that it is safe, simple to use with a long life.

Sealed and vented or pumped systems are the two major types of Gas Central Heating Systems available.

The vented/pumped one is more common of the two. A pumped/vented Gas Central Heating System has a feed and expansion tank. Your central heating radiators are heated and your water is stored in a hot water tank. When the water expands as it is heated the expansion tank allows for this. The tank is positioned at the point of maximum height, usually in the attic area to create water pressure. It heats the house and doubles as the water supply.

A pumped/vented Central Heating System is what most homes probably have, especially those built many years earlier.

A heating boiler system that is somewhat newer and more modern and that most people are choosing nowadays over the pumped/vented Gas Central Heating system is the sealed system. No water tanks are needed for a Sealed system as it is a completely closed setup saving space. In the absence of water tanks and pipework, the whole system is sealed and vented; here are some prominent benefits of such a system.

- Frozen attic pipes are no longer a problem.

- loft space is freed up and pipe maintenance is reduced.

- This diminishes the chances of a possible leakage.

- The sealing off of the system eliminates dirt buildup, air locking and corrosion that often troubles open vented systems.

- It is possible to flush out the system if required by using the mains water supply.

The sealed Gas Central Heating system is a fully packaged system with all the controls and safety devices already in place. The mains water supplies the water required for the sealed Central Heating system. It feeds directly from the main water supply.

Pressure variation can be regulated by a pressure vessel holding compressed gas; the hot water is pressurized by a diaphragm which also separates the water from the compressed gas. A safety valve will let water to escape or fill up depending on whether the pressure becomes too high or too low respectively.

Overall Gas Central Heating Systems offer more value for money as equated to alternative heating systems as they can be very efficient. Furthermore, they offer all kinds of control, which are normally not found in other heating systems giving you a more pleasant environment.
